Membership and Training

All new members undertake a BSAC Ocean Diver training course, details of which would be on the BSAC website. Training usually begins around October when we meet at Penyrheol Pool in Gorseinon on Sunday nights at 8.00 pm. Training continues through the winter months and the first open water dives then take place at the upper Lliw Resevoir around April, in preparation for the season ahead. Snorkel training for younger members also takes place on Sunday evenings.

Qualified divers who may wish to join our club are welcome to come along on Sundays to have a swim and we usually meet in the bar after pool training.

Each year all members have to sign a self-certified fitness to dive form, which can be downloaded here.
